Olentangy Baseball Club

The Olentangy Baseball Club is open to all athletes in the Olentangy and surrounding areas. We are not exclusive to Orange residents, however, we utilize the resources and facilities of the Olentangy Orange and Berlin School Districts along with their coaches and programs. As we have enjoyed continued growth year over year, we want to thank you for considering our community based program.

About the Season

Ages

We have teams available for players from 7 years old to collegiate age. The players birthdate determines what team they will play on. For example, if a child is born between 5/1/2017 and 4/30/2018, they will play on the 9U team for the upcoming 2027 season.

When

The travel season kicks off officially in March and goes through the first week of July.

We hold practices and scrimmages during the fall and participation is optional as we recommend that players play other sports.

We also hold practices indoor during the winter. This is optional as well, but highly recommended.

Where

Practices are held at a variety of fields throughout the Olentangy school district. Exact field locations are team dependent.

Practices

During Fall and Winter, teams will have the option to practice 1 - 2 times per week.

During the spring/summer season, teams will practice at least once per week and is contingent on the number of games being played in a given week.

Games

Teams will play 30 - 45 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends. This includes divisional, non divisional and tournament games.

Jerseys

Team jerseys are required and are available for purchase from the Club's Wilson Team shop. Details will be provided by the team coach.

· 9U/10U: Monday, June 29, 6 p.m., Orange High School Baseball Facility

· 11U/12U: Wednesday, July 8, 6 p.m., Olentangy Berlin High School Baseball Facility

· 13U: Wednesday, July 1, 6 p.m., Olentangy Berlin High School Baseball Facility & Tuesday, July 7, 6 p.m. Orange High School Baseball Facility

· 14U: Monday, July 6, 6 p.m., Olentangy Berlin High School Baseball Facility

· 15/16U: Monday, July 13, Olentangy Berlin High School Baseball Facility

5 p.m. - Pitchers and Catchers

6 p.m. - Position Players

· 17/18U: Tuesday, July 14, 6 p.m., Olentangy Berlin High School Baseball Facility
